Environmental Protection Agency Administrator
Scott Pruitt is the attorney general of the oil and gas-intensive state of Oklahoma and has spent much of his energy as attorney general fighting the very agency he is being nominated to lead. Pruitt, who has written that the debate on climate change is “far from settled,” is part of a coalition of state attorneys general suing the agency over the administration’s Clean Power Plan. Mr. Pruitt was confirmed on 17 February 2017.
