The Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery Certificate Program is an innovative training program offering a state-of-the-art cultural and scientific learning experience addressing the needs of traumatized persons and communities worldwide. Experts advance their practice and leadership skills in a new global community of practice. The course offers a blended learning experience with 2 weeks onsite in Italy followed by 5 months of collaborative online learning. The program is lead by an internationally acclaimed faculty. Initiated in November 2006, over 550 alumni are working in over 80 countries and are able to join a new alumni society. Certificates of completion are awarded by HPRT and the Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Education.
