Stand-up Comedy for Science — SOLD OUT

  • AAAS Headquarters (map)

AAAS is pleased to host a Science Comedy Night. Join us for an evening of science related humor. Featuring:

Kasha Patel: Kasha studied chemistry at Wake Forest University and earned her Masters in Science Journalism at Boston University. Now she is a stand-up comedienne, writer and on-screen personality focusing her jokes on science and her life. She hosted a miniseries on NASA TV and appeared on the Travel Channel's Mysteries at the Museum. She hosts science comedy shows, a night where only science jokes are allowed.

Robert Mac: Robert comes from a large family: hominid. He was the grand prize winner of Comedy Central's national stand-up contest and the talent search winner for the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and has been seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and The Learning Channel as well. His act has been described as clean, cerebral, silly, and a little self-deprecating.

Adam Ruben: Adam is a writer, comedian, storyteller, and molecular biologist. He writes the humor column “Experimental Error” in Science. He has also been on the Food Network’s Food Detectives, the Science Channel’s Head Rush, the Travel Channel’s Mysteries at the Kremlin, Discovery International’s Superhuman Science, the Weather Channel’s Weather Gone Viral, and NPR’s All Things Considered.

Space is limited.
