Webinar: Building institutional support for scientist engagement

Join the Union of Concerned Scientists and Future of Research for a webinar on August 31, 2pm ET, to learn about how new programs are building institutional support for scientists to engage with the public and with policymakers.

This webinar will look at three exciting examples of how scientists are working within the system to build a supportive environment for scientists to bring their skills to underrepresented groups, to the public more broadly, and to policy makers. Featured on the webinar: Dan Pomeroy, from MIT's Policy Lab, Elyse Aurbach-Pruitt from Researchers Expanding Lay-Audience Teaching and Engagement at the University of Michigan, and Nalini Nadkarni and Caitlin Weber, from the STEM Ambassador Program.
